Airship Hangar Museums ECAUSSEVILLE

The only one of its kind in the world, the airship hangar is a listed historical monument. It was built by the French navy during the First World War. The Americans used it as a maintenance workshop for their vehicles and weapons in June 1944. It was brought back into service during the Cold War (1967-1969).
Abundant graffiti dating back to 1944, listed as historical monuments, is still visible.
