Everything is local

“I’ve been in Cherbourg for a good ten years now, and I can get all my produce locally or from the markets. It’s a real luxury being so close to my suppliers. Whether it’s for fish, meat, vegetables, butter, eggs, cheese, etc.

All the products are fresh and exceptional. Every Thursday and Saturday I go to the market in Cherbourg, where the producers strive to produce organic and delicious produce. The other day I bought some mushrooms that had been collected at six o’clock in the morning, bought at eight o’clock and were on the table at lunchtime! The same applies for the fish and scallops that I buy the same day as they’re caught, and they are served the very next day in the restaurant. I love it here in Cotentin, the people are so easy-going. They always see things through, and try to do their very best.
