A pop-up artist’s village

Every year in June, Fermanville is transformed into an artist's village for a day.

When we see this village for the very first time, it’s as if we have been magically transported into another realm. The friendly locals prepare and open their gardens to artists and visitors for this event that is becoming more and more popular each year.
What makes Campagn’Art so special is the way the venue is set up with the traditional-style houses, the warm welcome visitors get from the locals, and the chance to meet new artists every year. All of this in the idyllic atmosphere of the French countryside!

Some photos from previous years

Painters, photographers, sculptors, musicians… all take their position on the grass, in the courtyards, under the apple trees or gazebos, for this one-day event. Families, visitors and locals wander the streets and gardens filled with artworks and the sweet scents of thousands of flowers fill the air.

Around a hundred artists of all different kinds come here every year. The artists are delighted to talk to visitors about their creations, providing opportunities for some rich and highly motivating encounters, and an unforgettable day for all.

Visitors leave their cars in a nearby field, so there are no cars on site. A visitor’s trail is indicated but you are also free to stroll around as you wish. The gardens are open to visitors and they can be found thanks to the signs, with original names for each one: “le jardin exotique”, “le jardin secret”, etc.
Free admission – food and drink available.

Always ready to listen to the feedback from visitors and fans of art, this event has one single goal in mind: to improve year-on-year and offer the very best of the art world to everyone involved. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover a harmonious presentation of the widest range of artists. Thanks to this constant search for excellence, Campagn’Art is a much-awaited event that attracts almost 3,000 visitors every year.
