The famous English race departing from Cowes (Isle of Wight), organised by the legendary “Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC)”, created after the first edition in 1925, will this year welcome no less than 350 boats of all kinds (Ultim, IMOCA, Class 40, IRC…), including both professionals and amateurs, for a triumphant arrival in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin scheduled for August 2021.
The organisers chose France, and the port of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin in particular, one of the top French ports in terms of visitors, because they wanted to offer a fresh, new perspective to this major event in the world of sailing.
