The Eglise de la Trinité was founded in 1060 by William the Conqueror, and
was completely rebuilt in the flamboyant gothic style after the Hundred Years’ War. Throughout the 19th century, this church underwent numerous additions and modifications, and it houses an exceptional collection of English albaster from the end of the Middle Ages.
