Church of Canville-la-Rocque Religious buildings CANVILLE-LA-ROCQUE

The church of Canville-la-Rocque dates back to the 16th century and is well-known for its vaults and frescoes. The wall paintings in one of the chapels represent the legend of the hung boy who revives, along the Santiago de Compostela route. There are interpretation panels available so that visitors can find out more about this legend. Don’t miss the rood beam, known as “perque” in Normandy.
