Checklist
For an unforgettable nature walk
- A good pair of shoes! That’s right, this is not the time to show off your fabulous new shoes, you’d be better off with a good old pair of trainers, or some good walking boots!
- A bottle of water to keep you hydrated along the way
- A blanket for a little afternoon nap under a tree after a picnic lunch
- A pair of binoculars to observe the birds
- A camera to make sure you remember this great day out for a long time to come!
- A Swiss Army knife, practical for making a sandwich at lunchtime, and the corkscrew might come in handy in certain situations…
- A map of the region to find your way. Pick one up from the nearest tourist office!
- A compass to make sure you’re going in the right direction or angle! The children will enjoy using this, and it’ll make them think they’re on a treasure hunt!
- A wind-proof jacket just in case. Even if it’s sunny, you’re in Normandy so who knows what the weather might bring…
